FAQ

Questions and Answers

How do I use the product?

1) Spray the pacifier with the product. 2) Wait 15 seconds for the formula to do it's job. 3) Air dry or wipe dry (no rinse required). It's that simple!

Do I have to rinse the pacifier before giving it to my baby?

No, you do not need to rinse the pacifier before giving it to your baby, as after 15 seconds, the formula returns to simple saline water. We recommended drying the pacifier before giving it to your baby, either air dry or wipe dry.

How do you ensure the safety and quality of the product?

Our manufacturing facility is in the USA and is regulated by the Environmental Protection Agency. This means the government has approved the facility to make hypochlorous. A laboratory quality management system is in place and our formula also undergoes 3rd party safety testing.

We are confident in the quality and safety of our product and we use Littley daily for our own child’s pacifier and other items.

Why haven’t I heard of Hypochlorous before, it seems too good to be true?

Hypochlorous is not new, it is already sold by companies both globally and in the USA for use on toys, high chairs, pacifiers, pediatric wound care, dental and eye care and for keeping fruit and vegetables clean.

What does 'approved by board-certified pediatricians' mean?

During our extensive product sourcing and development phase, we consulted with an advisory team, including a board-certified* pediatrician and a board-certified neonatologist; to review our product label, formula, and scientific research data. They provided an overall safety assessment and approved the product.

*Board certification is awarded by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) and signifies that a pediatrician has undertaken additional training and rigorous assessment in their specialty area.

What does 'European Inspired, American Made' mean?

‘Mainly we were looking for a solution for our own child, we had a non-toxic formula in mind based on what parents in Europe were using and found an excellent US based partner that had the regulatory approvals to produce the pacifier cleaning spray. What started out as solving a problem for our own son, has quickly expanded into a business due to demand from other parents, and we are so happy to share this product with you.’ (Quote from our Founder).

How do I know the product is working?

Once you spray the formula, it is important to wait for 15 seconds before wiping it off. It's also important to use the formula within the 2 year expiry date range and once opened, you should use the product within 3 months.

Please refrain from unscrewing the cap completely and exposing the solution to the open air, as exposure to oxygen will impact the stability and therefore effectiveness of the product. Since the product is a spray product, there is no need to unscrew the lid.

If you follow these instructions, you can be confident that you are using a stable form of hypochlorous, which is a natural cleanser and cleaner.

What is the return and refund policy?

Due to the nature of the product and to ensure the safety and efficacy of the product for other customers, we don't accept physical returns. However, if there is an issue with the product or order please contact hello@littleyusa.com and we will do our best to resolve it for you.
